I was lucky that I called the Medco co to see if it was true they no longer used Master and they were the ones to tell me cancel the card immediately. US bank fraud unit has even called us to inform us what they were doing. Maybe because it is VISA backed I am thinking. I feel your pain- it happen to us when our house was robbed. This wasn't true, it was a scammer getting our number. Long story I will tell you about..I had the card cancelled within 40 minutes so so far haven't had it used..a person who couldn't speak english was the one who called. they even had our address and all.
