Mosaic Quilt

Made this weekend using 2 inch quilt fuse and a bunch of 2" fabrics I bought already cut off ebay awhile ago for super cheap. More of a wallhanging I suppose than a quilt. Front and Back (I designed & quilted it myself, too!) shown below. It was surprisingly EASY!

Wow... that is really nice. Not sure if I could stand working with little squares.....

Check out the link - it is sooo easy. I bought the squares precut - all you do is lay them on the fusible grid and iron them - they will stick and then you just fold along the lines drawn on the grid and sew :)

Nice job! That 2" square fusible web is so much easier to work with than sewing them all the regular way. I've done several floral watercolors with it, in addition to the trip around the world that's up on my flickr account. I tend to do the short-cut way referred to in "Quick Watercolor Quilts" by Dina Pappas. That way, you tend to use small amounts of just 2-3 fabrics cut into squares (with good fabric choices, it actually works).
