1ST Tri - DONE...

The Bump's Chinese Gender Predictor apparently thinks we are having a boy, but it is so hard to say. The baby had a pretty high heartbeat, which can sometimes mean girl. And morning sickness is attributed to girls sometimes, also, but moreso when it is severe. Other online quizes put us at almost 50/50 for boy/girl :) I will be happy with either! Here's to the 2ND Trimester and finding out more about our precious little one :)
In other news, Josh has started coaching 2nd grade football with a friend. It is the most adorable thing ever - he comes home absolutely lit up from how happy he is. The kids are hilarious and cute and he has nothing but good things to say about the program. No more news I can think of, other than it is now officially Fall, the leaves are changing, and the air is definitely getting cooler!

Hey - the Chinese Gender Predicting chart was right with both Graycen and Parker. As far as the heartbeat thing goes: Parker had a high heartbeat and so did Graycen. Morning sickness: it was worse with Parker than it was with Graycen - so those two wive's tales were laid to rest with Parker.
Either way, you'll be so excited!! Congrats on making it through your 1st tri... soon you're going to hit the "honeymoon stage" of being pregnant. It's great to feel good!!

I still say girl :) No reason, just a feeling.

I had horrible m/s with Anna, carried low, and she had a high heartbeat everytime.

Yeah! to feeling better. I will pray that you don't get heartburn as bad as I did. There were days that was worse than m/s. Hell, I would have quit the WAM tourney at 10am if it wouldn't have disqualified the boat.

HAHA - I remember that - and that %^*&$ who wouldn't get you some Tums!
No heartburn so far but I am still down 8 lbs but eating well (I think I ate half a thing of strawberries today) and only sick about once a week now (usually on Mondays when my body knows I have to go back to work!). But - I was the heaviest I have been when I got pg so the weight loss doesn't scare me. Or the doc :)

I was down 10 lbs after the 1st tri and the dr. said I was still a healthy weight. Don't worry about the nutrients- the baby is a parasite- it would be you that would lack, not the baby. I was at my heaviest when I got pg. Before Anna was born, I was only up 10 lbs from my pre-pg weight. Two weeks later I was 25 lbs down from my pre-pg weight (breastfeeding is awesome!). I've gained 10 lbs since I quit BFing. ok I rambled.
