She's here!

Welcome Keira Lorraine into the world! She came in at 12:41PM, 7lbs even, 20.5 inches long. Big feet like her mommy and good basketball gripping hands to make daddy proud :) She's everything and more - I can't describe the cloud Josh and I are on right now!

39 Week Dr Update

In case anyone was wondering - had my 39 week checkup today, quite possibly my last but we still scheduled next weeks, just in case :) More progress (yay!) - now at 3cm and 70% for those who know what that means :)
Like other appointments the doc doesn't think it will be long now (um, duh!)...

Here's hoping the next post will be an introduction to a new baby girl!!!

Just for comparison - first pic is at 12 weeks, and next to it is now at 38 weeks :) Still in the same pre-pg pants I bought at Steve & Barry's for $7!

We're Watching You!

Spy cam is now installed and working great - amazing something so TINY can give a great picture and sound! Seriously, I think it is about an inch or so in size... We attached it to the ceiling where the light is in the room and you can't even tell it is there...

My Boys...

They do this ALL THE TIME - it is so darned cute :) I tried to lay with them and Boscoe moved because he couldn't see the tv...
Poor Boscoe will soon be replaced with a sleeping baby!

Huge THANK YOU to my coworkers, friends, and family for spending a few hours together last night at the shower for Keira! It was so much fun to see all the little ones running around together :) You all are so generous, we are incredibly lucky! I hope everyone had fun - I know I did!

Update

Had my 36 week appointment today. First time being violated! It actually wasn't bad - I was expecting way worse. Also had the strep B test, same thing not too bad. I came ready with a list of questions (I always forget to ask!) and my nurse/doc team was great. They had a student or new nurse with that they were teaching along the way. They asked me before hand if I minded that she was there and I definitely didn't mind - nothing wrong with learning...
I got a list of pediatricians/family practice docs to choose from, and now will be going in once a week.

So far I have gained about 17-20lbs and everything looks great with my blood pressure, etc. Oh yeah, I am dilated at 1.5cm and 50% effaced, which in the grand scheme of things doesn't mean much because she will come when she is ready :)
My doc, ever the one to freak me out of course, told me to stop at the hospital and preregister right away. Then as I am leaving he says, "See you next week, or sooner!" Um, thanks, I think!
I want her to wait a bit of course, but he assured me that she would be just fine even if she decided to come today. And who knows, she could even be overdue, those numbers just never seem to mean jack! The waddle is also in full force, with her head down so low :)
Countdown is on, that is for sure! Nesting has already began if you ask Josh, and hopefully I don't drive him nuts in these next few weeks :)

The baby in my ticker moved this morning to the final spot! Scary but so very exciting - I can't wait to meet her :)
