2 Months Old!

And growing well! She is now 11lbs, 23" long, with a head circumference of 15.75cm.
Shots went well - she barely cried, has been a tad sleepy, but still all smiles :)

Last year on this very day...

We seriously killed the crappie population right from the dock. It was so much fun - what I like to call "lazy fishing" due to the lack of effort it takes to slay the buggers. Fish were biting at almost every cast, not much wind, gorgeous sunset, sunflower seeds (always), and a rod. I think the only work it took was baiting the hook and getting the fish on the stringer (and then lifting the stringer for the photo-op).

I'm sure mom is out there now trying for the same crappies or at least wishing she was, just like me :) If only the WAM tourney went through sunset!

Cradle Crap

That's what we like to call it :)

Keira was not a fan of the greasy treatment (even though the bottle says "non-greasy" - they lied!), but it did seem to work. Lots of the cradle cap flaked off and we will see how it goes from here.

Her skin is doing sooooo much better - still have no clue what caused the icky rash she had before, although we suspect heat. Definitely not an allergy - I went dairy-free for awhile and then reintroduced milk and she has had no problems - thank goodness because I love cheese and milk!

I will take cradle cap over that red bumpy rash any day!

Grrrr....

He made his way to the front yard, and without any trees to use, he CLIMBED THE HOUSE and dropped down to the feeder... I went outside to move the feeder and he didn't run away, just stared at me from the roof.

New Living Arrangements

Josh & Heather helped us move our massive bed upstairs next to Keira's room this weekend - we like it much better already. We have to move the art above the bed because I hit them with my head when I sit up, and we have to finish the trim in the room, but otherwise it is pretty close to done :) Our bedroom used to be downstairs in this room although the pic is a bit outdated since we had different bedding after this:














That room is now the guest room, with bunk beds, a futon, and the treadmill.

Oh yeah, we also caved and let Boscoe on the bed :P

Cute Outfit

Too cute not to share, even if it is a bit boyish :P I wish the camera captured it better - the cap is long and tied at the end - so she looks like a little elf! Not bad for a $3 Old Navy find... I am so glad she is starting to fit in more than just her newborn clothes, will make for a very cute summer :)
